Navedo's professional acting began in soap operas. Between 1995 and 1997, she appeared as Linda Soto on the ABC soap drama One Life to Live. She was also cast on her role on the CBS soap Guiding Light, as Theresa Sandoval, from 1999 to 2000. In 1996, she made her debut in films with a minor role as a minor character in Girl 6. She then played on New York Undercover episodes and The District. Navedo was as a character in Double Take, an action-comedy film, in 2001. The drama Washington Heights was released the next year. Navedo as Detective Ana Cordova in the NBC program Law & Order from 2001 until 2004. In the following years, he was a part of Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages as well as Blue Bloods. Navedo is also a part of films such as El Cantante, Remember Me and many more.
