Allana Ferguson bio
Allana was selected to play for Australia at Rugby Sevens 2013, but the knee injury that followed kept her off the field. It took several years for Allana to return back into the rugby league. Allana played with distinction for New South Wales during her debut Women's Rugby League match against Queensland in 2015, a game she also took part in during 2015. Allana is also a frequent radio personality, appearing regularly with 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana is a teacher with a complete certification outside of sports. Allana Ferguson, a Jillaroos player and a qualified teacher out of the sport arena she has played for Australia three times - in touch football, rugby league and also in rugby sevens. Allana Ferguson, Jillaroos player who played in an extensive period of rugby league, has had to end her playing career before the age of 25 because she injured her ACL four times. Ferguson was 25, and has tore her ACL the same place at ages the age of 15-17 and at 20. After the fourth tear she realized it was the right time for an end. Ferguson played for JILLAROOS's team and was forced to step down earlier due to a fourth tear to the ACL of her left. Ferguson, the JILLAROOS' playmaker, announced the news to The Courier Mail this week following an injury sustained during training in November.
